If you're like me and have pretty flat hair, it can really drag a look down. My man showed me how I could use mousse and hairspray to give it more volume and life, but my man later discovered that using hair dryers was bad for health, and I also didn't like using so much hair product full of toxic chemicals in my hair, or the fact that my hair became so heavy after growing it out that it was difficult to get even the strongest levels of mousse and hair gel to keep my hair the shape that I wanted.
I was thus really excited to discover volumizing hair bands with teeth -- toothed hair bands that use a big toothed comb built into their design to fluff the hair near the forehead and push it higher, so that they create a volumized look with no effort. I loved that I could just put this instant volume headband on without even looking at it, and instantly add volume to my hair at my forehead, so that it instantly improved my look, and also created a pretty look.
See the start of this review for an image of the set of different colors of instant volume headbands for women from Temu, and below for images of the khaki volume boosting headband from Temu that I chose to buy, of its front view, back view, and length dimensions, taken from the Temu product page.

I had actually discovered this volumizing headband while choosing items to buy to allow me to meet a quota to access a promotion, and saw that it was also discounted to a very good price, so I decided to try it without looking much into it. I chose the khaki color because I have black hair, and thought that it would provide a nice contrast, as well as match with most things.
I am super-pleased with the result, as this has become my go-to headband. I wear it all the time -- almost every day -- for effortless volume, that takes no time to create. I just put it on like I would a regular headband, and the volume is instantly there. The twist design with rhinestones adds an elegant touch that isn't over-the-top, such that I can wear this toothed headband with both casual clothes, and dressier items.
My hair even normally parts in the middle, and the part somehow disappears when I put on the headband, without me having to try to comb it out, or do anything to hide it, such that the hair at my forehead looks uniform and neat -- definitely not like I hadn't done anything at all to manage it.
If you're lazy and don't have a lot of time to spare, but still want nice hair, as well as want to avoid using hair products and hair dryers to help your hair look better, then these volumizing headbands with teeth are such a bargain volumizer. Temu actually sells hair volumizer clips that you can hide under your hair to provide more volume, but you have to actually put effort into making sure that they don't peek out, and put them in the right place. I like this instant volume headband more because it takes less time to put on. It also stays more securely in your hair and where you put it, thanks to the big teeth of the comb helping hold it where you placed it.
I really like it, and would consider buying the other colors as well, though I haven't found the need to, as I think that the khaki colored volume lifting headband has worked well for all the occasions that I have wanted to wear it for.
Even if you don't have flat hair, I think that the headband design is very nice, and would "prettify" your hair quickly and easily, and is thus worth any woman giving a shot.
This toothed headband is very strong, sturdy, and durable.
It's advertised as 14 cm/5.51 inches in diameter, which is too small for my large head (which requires something closer to 6 inches to actually fit), but I actually think that it works even for big heads, despite its smaller dimensions, as, even though the ends don't reach all the way down behind the full length of my ears, the teeth of the comb still hold it securely on my head, such that I don't even notice that it is too small for my head (since headbands should probably reach at least down past your ears to be the correct size. I honestly didn't even notice that this toothed headband was probably too small, until I checked it for this review, since my headband stays on so securely anyway.
See below for photos of the khaki version of the toothed headband that I bought, with a ruler to show its height and width measurements.

As you can see, the advertised width was accurate at around 5.51 inches, while the height was around 6 inches.

The volume lifting headband also doesn't pinch my head like most too-small headbands do, so that I don't even really notice it when I wear it.
I think that the cloth on it probably makes a difference, helping add on padding, so that it's not just hard plastic against your head, even though it is a plastic toothed headband. I'm guessing that the cloth adds more comfort. I doubt that the cloth is made of cotton or natural materials, since there's no indication that it is, but, because it doesn't really touch my skin (which is sensitive to artificial materials), I haven't found that to be a problem.
This instant volume headband has become my favorite, after wearing it for months, and I see it as a staple in my hair accessories. I think that volumizing headbands with teeth could become a staple for a lot of women with flat-hair problems.

Review:
Pros:
-create instant volume for naturally-flat hair
-anti-slip and very secure
-pretty big for most headbands (though still not large enough to truly fit extra-large heads)
-still fit comfortably even on too-big heads
-come in three neutral colors that can match most colors, clothes, and looks
-very elegant
-very pretty
-padding at the ends protects your temples
-padding around the entire headband apart from the teeth makes the headband comfortable to wear
-small silver sequins allow them to be worn with more dressy clothing
-not too tight around the ears, and don't dig in
-very flexible and bendable
-versatile enough to be worn for everyday wear, and for dress-up occasions
-reasonable price, especially if you wait for it to be discounted
-very strong and durable
Cons:
-dimensions are still too small to truly fit a very large head (though it will be fine for most people, who have average-sized heads)
-come only in plain colors
-more expensive than other hairband options
