REVIEW: Extra-Handy Wall-mounted Eyeglasses Holder From Temu

By The Treasure-Sharer

eyeglass holder, transparent, taken from Temu product pageIf you have super-bad eyesight like I do, then you know how frustrating it can be to misplace your eyeglasses -- because you needed them to see in the first place! I would just put my glasses in any old spot when I needed to take them off, such as on the table beside my bed when I went to sleep, on the counter when I needed to wash my face, on my desk when I needed to put on makeup, etc. The problem was, my desks and everything have become very crowded over time, so it has become hard to find my glasses amidst all the other stuff that I have accumulated. As well, my glasses sometimes fall to the ground while I'm feeling around to find them, which I do when I wake up in the morning.

I've had to waste a lot of time some mornings trying to find my glasses, either because they fell somewhere out of sight, or because I placed them somewhere in a way that made them very difficult to find. I knew that I needed a better system for managing my glasses when I wasn't wearing them.

That's why, when I saw the wall mounted glasses holder on Temu, I was sure that it would fix a lot of the problems with my glasses storage that I was experiencing. I saw that you could buy them in a three-pack, so I chose that option, already thinking to put one in my bathroom, one in my bedroom, and one wherever else I needed it, already anticipating how much more convenient it would be to have more than one, to give me more options for where to stick them to help me stop losing my glasses every time I needed to take them off.

See below to see some images of the wall mounted eyeglasses holder stuck on a wall by an entryway, the three different color options (transparent, white, and grey), and the size dimensions, taken from the Temu product page.

I was super-excited about getting them, so I was so confused when they arrived with only one wall mounted eyeglasses holder, instead of three, like I had thought I would be getting. I was really annoyed, and asked customer service if I could get a refund for two of them, since I was supposed to get three, but they would only give me 50% off, which I didn't think was fair, so I decided to just return the one wall mounted eyeglasses holder, and buy a set that would for sure come with three.

But because of the lameness of my experience, I didn't order more, and just kept my package closed, since I knew that I was going to return it, and so didn't even try it.

I ended up missing the deadline date to return the one wall mounted glasses holder, because I forgot to keep track of the order time, and ended up getting a 50% refund for it, like Temu was originally offering.

I decided to try ordering the wall mounted eyeglasses holder again, and this time made sure that the one I ordered said that it would come with three, and again waited. I was glad that the eyeglasses holders that were the cheapest available were transparent, since I figured that they would be the least noticeable on walls, and I didn't really want them to stand out.

See the images below to see some examples of the benefits of the wall mounted eyeglasses holder, including how it can be installed without causing damage to walls, and can be attached to the edge of a table, in small spaces on walls, on closet doors, etc., taken from the Temu product page.

I was finally motivated to open the packages of the wall mounted eyeglasses holders and try them out recently, and instantly found that they were just as useful as I had thought they would be.

I put one wall mounted glasses holder on the wall by my computer table, to hold my blue light blocking glasses (which you can find a review of here). I put one on the wall by my bed. Lastly, I put one on the wall of my bathroom.

I found that it took a little extra time to put my glasses into the wall mounted eyeglasses holder at night, and to take them out, but also thought that it was well worth the trouble of not having to feel around to find my glasses, having them fall, and having them in funny places, like they used to be.

Another benefit of the wall mounted glasses display is that I can readily see my blue light blocking glasses, and have them somewhere easy to grab, when I'm using my computer.

I have to admit that I'm not used to using the wall mounted eyeglasses holder in my bathroom yet, but I know that it's super-good to have one there, because I've accidentally left my glasses in the bathroom and had the lenses eaten away by the chemicals from the toothpaste and stuff around it, which totally wasn't worth it, and also had them fall onto the floor sometimes, so I'm going to make an effort to use the wall mounted glasses storage there more.

wall mounted eyeglasses holder with sticky tacky putty, on drawerI actually want to buy more wall mounted eyeglasses holders, because I want to put another one on the wall by the desk that I use to apply my makeup, and maybe add another one to beside my computer table, for when I want to remove my glasses and not misplace them there. See the photo to the side to see how you can also stick the glasses holder to a drawer.

My glasses are ones that I wear regularly, rather than just for reading or for seeing things that are far away. I imagine that the glasses holders would also be great for placing in areas where you regularly use reading glasses, if you have them.

You can put your glasses into the wall mounted eyeglasses holder right-side up, or upside down. See the photos below to see my glasses in them in both orientations.

If you don't wear glasses yourself, then I actually think that these would be useful to buy for putting blue light blocking glasses in like I did, or also to give to family members who wear glasses or reading glasses, and tend to misplace them.

Like I wrote in my blue light blocking glasses review, my blue light blocking glasses ended up getting a bit bent out of shape because they got sat on, which is one of the problems that could be avoided, with a wall mounted glasses holder available. Then, you can conveniently have a place for your glasses in multiple rooms in your household, instead of placing them on the couch, like I did.

You could also use one, or more, as a wall mounted sunglasses holder.

wall mounted eyeglasses holder adhesives, taken from Temu product pageEach wall mounted glasses holder comes with two clear adhesive stickers each, to stick to the back of each holder, so that you can mount them against something, instead of having them take up space on a table or something. See the image to the side for how to install the wall mounted eyeglasses holder with adhesive, taken from the Temu product page.

adhesives for wall mounted eyeglasses holderI never used the adhesives, because I wasn't sure if the places that I chose to place my wall mounted eyeglasses holders at were where I wanted to keep them, so I used two pieces of sticky tacky putty each to hold them up instead, and they worked super well, so I just never replaced them. (I did a sticky tacky putty review recently, if you want to read up on my thoughts on and experiences with it.) You can see the unused adhesives that came with the wall mounted eyeglasses holder, in the photo to the side.

The transparent wall mounted glasses holder looks a bit funny with the adhesive putty, since the sticky tacky putty is pink, but I don't care enough about this to sacrifice the convenience of being able to move my eyeglass holders around whenever and wherever I want to with using the clear adhesives, because I'm pretty sure that they are one-time use only, and I am saving them for when I'm sure that I'm happy with where I place my glasses holders. See below for images of two of my wall mounted eyeglasses holders, with sticky tacky putty on them, and some with the unused adhesives that came with them, either in the holder, like they originally came and looked when I received them, or in front of the holder, to better display them.

Anyways, if you want a convenient way to be able to put your glasses down without misplacing them, then the wall mounted glasses holder from Temu is a great, cheap solution, and can save you money in the long run, in helping prevent situations where your glasses might need to be repaired, from having fallen, or gotten stuff on them because you didn't have a designated spot to put them in.

They come in different colors, like grey, white, and transparent, but I prefer transparent, since it blends into walls better, which I think gives it a better aesthetic -- but then again, my sticky tacky putty can be seen through it, where it wouldn't be visible if I had been using colored eyeglasses holders. So I'd recommend going with your preference.

See the photos below to see how the eyeglasses holder looks like from various perspectives, with a view of the top, view of the bottom, view of the back, and view of the front.

I would also recommend getting more than one wall mounted glasses holder, because I find the glasses holders to be useful to have all over the house. I would recommend reading the item description very carefully, to make sure about the amount that you will be receiving, so that you don't end up with only one wall mounted eyeglasses holder, when you thought that you'd be getting more, like I did. The wording on the set that I got first was really tricky to decipher, and might have been presented in terms of being able to choose three different colors, but because it said “3-pack,” I interpreted it to mean that I would be getting a pack of three. Temu will not give more than a 50% refund for partial refunds is why I was frustrated to have received mine without the full amount, since 50% doesn't cover the third missing holder.

You can usually get the wall mounted glasses organizer for a cheaper price when ordering it in sets that have more than one, so I would order in bigger quantities, if you're thinking of buying more for yourself, or plan to give some to family members or friends, as well.

I think that the wall mounted glasses holder is super-useful for anyone who wears or uses glasses of any kind.

I think that it's one of the best ways to store eyeglasses, because it's very visible, unlike cases that can disappear as easily as glasses do, and it also saves a lot of space, since it can be attached not only to walls, but to the edges of tables, drawers, and more.

Mine did come with scratches on them, perhaps from being dropped by handlers or something, which I didn't like, but I don't know if the non-transparent ones would have scratch marks on them, so if scratch marks bother you, then you might want to try ordering the colored options.

If you want to play it safe, you can know that the three-pack that I have linked to comes with three, rather than just one wall mounted glasses holder, for sure.

Gem or Junk?

For Us:

Gem: 4 stars out of 5

I thought that wall mounted eyeglass storage would be useful as soon as I saw these wall mounted glasses holders, and as soon as I used them, I saw that I was right, because these cheap glasses holders are great at doing what they’re supposed to do. The time that they save me from having to look for my glasses, and the number of times that they can save you from dropping and damaging your glasses, is definitely worth their cheap price.

I like having more than one wall mounted eyeglasses holder, to put up in different places. I like that they come with clear adhesive stickers that will blend in with the holders, though I haven’t made use of them yet.

I did feel a sour taste in my mouth from getting only one wall mounted glasses holder, when I thought that I'd be getting three, from one seller, but I’m glad that I was able to find a seller that was more transparent, and did send three. I didn’t appreciate the deep scratch marks that each eyeglasses holder had, and it’s for these reasons that I’m not giving them a higher rating.

Still, if you’re buying them for the utility, then they’re definitely worth trying at least one, though I would just buy a bunch at one time, to save more money.

4. People who wear reading glasses, and want places to store them near their reading spots.

5. People who want to put their glasses somewhere convenient in their vehicles.

6. People who have multiple glasses that need storage.

7. People who wear blue light blocking glasses, and want a place to put them.

8. People who want multiple places to put their glasses.

9. People who have family members who wear glasses, who are always misplacing and losing them.

10. Senior citizens with reading or other glasses.

11. Parents with kids who misplace or lose their glasses.

12. People who want a quick way to access and store their sunglasses.

13. Anyone with eyeglasses or sunglasses.

Conclusion:

Anyone who wears glasses, or who has a spouse, kids, or elderly people in their family who wear glasses, would benefit from buying multiple wall mounted eyeglasses holders, not just for every family member with glasses, but for placing in all the different areas that would make storing the glasses more convenient. If you want to know how to store eyeglasses in a handy and convenient way, then this is a good, cheap option for doing so.

Many of the reviewers I have seen have purchased the wall mounted eyeglasses holder more than once, or plan to buy more, and I know that I already wish that I had bought a bigger pack, and plan to buy more also. They are sooo practical, and make a huge and immediate difference to the ease of finding your glasses, and the time saved searching for them.

There are many styles of eyeglasses holders for sale, including cheaper ones that just have something that holds the glasses by the nosepads, or ones that you can place on your table, but I didn't choose those, because, with the first design, it felt like it would be too easy to knock the glasses off, and with the second design, it felt like it took up too much space. With the wall mounted eyeglasses holder design that I chose, it feels and looks very secure, which gives me more piece of mind that the glasses that I place in them won't fall out. Glasses can get pretty expensive, so I think that it's worth paying more to prevent them from falling and getting damaged.

I prefer the wall mounted eyeglasses holder because you can stick it to walls, closet doors, drawers, etc., since it can save space on your desk and tables for other things.

If you have super-bad eyesight, then it might be worth getting colored eyeglasses holders, since color makes them easier to spot when you're not wearing glasses. I personally like the transparent ones for their inconspicuousness, though I don't like their tendency to come with big, deep scratches on them.
